ReplyDeleteHi! I'm a friend of Marie's (I believe she told you that she showed me your blog). I love your entries and am following your adventures closely. I lived in Japan and taught English there for 3 years. I'm very curious about how it goes for you in Shanghai! I was only able to visit China (Beijing) for 1 week last spring, but when I was there, I got an overwhelming sense of how much more there is to see in such a giant, amazing country. I look forward to seeing all that I can't see at the moment through your eyes. Keep up the great work!

Why thank you Elisa! Yes Marie has told me about you and I'm so happy you are following my blog. I thought about teaching in Japan and finally decided that China was the place to be at the moment... so many changes and at such a quick pace - blink and you miss it!
